Director of Photography

Thomas Løkkeberg, FNF (Norwegian Society of Cinematographers), is an accomplished Director of Photography based in Norway. With over two decades of experience, Thomas has honed his craft across hundreds of commercials, music videos, fiction films, and documentaries.
A graduate of Queensland College of Art, Australia (1998–2001), Thomas has dedicated his career to mastering the art of visual storytelling. His work reflects a deep understanding of light, composition, and the technical finesse required to evoke emotion on screens of all sizes.
Thomas is driven by a passion for creating visually compelling narratives. He believes in the transformative power of strong imagery to turn the interesting into the extraordinary, captivating audiences and elevating stories to new heights.
Between 2015 and 2017, Thomas expanded his expertise by joining the creative production company Punchline, where he gained valuable experience in producing and co-directing. This broadened his perspective and deepened his understanding of the filmmaking process as a whole.
Currently, Thomas owns an Arri Alexa Mini, a set of Ultra Prime lenses, and TLS zooms, enabling him to take on personal projects that push the boundaries of his craft. For him, cinematography is a lifelong journey—a pursuit of mastery at the intersection of art and technique.
